QUESTION
I am having trouble, with a formula. When I enter the number in it show's on the box above but when I hit enter it disappears. I am so frustrated with the thing. I have tried format and choosing the number format and click ok but it does not seem to work. Also when I go to print my spreadsheet it does not print the way it looks when I preview it. What am I doing wrong?
ANSWER
The text was formatted to be shown vertically (right click -> Format Cells -> Alignment).
And since the number was too big to show vertically, it showed a '#' sign instead.
